Official 'Last Vegas' Poster.
Named as the 'Hangover' movie for the older generation, 'Last Vegas' does its job of entertaining people with laughs and a cool ensemble that many waited for them to join in one movie.

The movie talks about four boys, who have been friends since childhood. 50 years later, when ladies man and long time bachelor 'Billy Garson'(Michael Douglas) decides to get married to a much younger woman named 'Lisa'(Bre Blair), he decides to invite and reunite 'The Flatbush Four' for his wild bachelor party in Las Vegas. Eager to induce change to their lives and forget their troubles, 'Archibald Clayton'(Morgan Freeman), Patrick Colson (Robert De Niro) and 'Sam Harris'(Kevin Kline) agree to join him, even if some have their doubts. Craziness, goofiness and outrageous acts will occur. Will they be prepared for such an environment and will they have their time of their lives and maintain their 70 year friendship? Other characters include hotel singer 'Diane Boyle'(Mary Steenburgen), punk kid 'Todd'(Jerry Ferrera), and hotel guide 'Lonnie'(Weronika Resati).

From the moment 'Last Vegas' was announced, many were comparing it to the movies of the 'Hangover' series due to the similarities that are obvious. However, the scale of this movie is much smaller and the target audience is very much different. And that has been obvious seeing the stars and legends that have been cast. For the most part 'Last Vegas' manages to be a fun movie that enjoys those laughs that are needed for such genre, but overall it does have its share of flaws and jokes that aren't that much funny. But in the end it is a harmless offering for fans of the four main stars to watch an enjoyable movie, without the over-the-top comedic lines. But they were successful in capitalizing on the success of 'The Hangover-PartIII' movie and its predecessors.

"Mary Steenburgen".
"Morgan Freeman".
"Jon Turteltaub" was the director. He is known for directing the 'National Treasure' film series and 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice', all action movies that are known for including a bit of comedic tone into them. In general, his directing style doesn't completely suit this movie genre, yet he does provide a good end result. "Dan Fogelman", who acted as writer for movies that included comedy in a major or minor way such as 'Tangled' and 'Crazy Stupid Love', provided good jokes but at the same time there were many repeated and familiar ones. Plus not all characters had appropriate or compelling development, which hampered the movie to a certain extent. Composer "Mark Mothersbaugh"('21Jump Street' and 'Hotel Transylvania') did what he had to in order to support the movie.

"Kevin Kline".

The first half of the movie was mainly a means to introduce us to the four main characters and provide us with the information needed for us to be able to witness the characters development. The second half was the awkward half since the transition from the first to the third half had to be more interesting, and in this movie those moments were very few. The final act was very much predictable, yet it included many hilarious moments that stood out. The highlights of the movie were by far the scenes where the four main characters interacted with each other. Also the references made about old people and the struggle with new technologies also were one of the highlight jokes of the movie.

"Michael Douglas" and
"Robert De Niro".
"Kevin Kline", "Robert De Niro",
"Michael Douglas" and
"Morgan Freeman".
This is the first time that all four legendary actors have ever worked with one another. "Michael Douglas"'s character was front and center. "Douglas was able to make his character relatable to people of the same age.”Robert De Niro" had the character with the most development(in an emotionally entertaining manner) and was able to give it his all, even if this development wasn't effectively written or executed. "Morgan Freeman" had the funniest lines and scenes of the entire movie. You can't help but smile and laugh whenever he comes on the screen. "Kevin Kline" had the most interesting arc between the four actors. "Mary Steenburgen" was able to outshine her four co-stars when with them, while "Jerry Ferrera" and "Weronika Resati" were solid support.

'Last Vega' may not be the most innovative and creative comedy movie, but the thought of seeing four legendary actors working together is totally worth it.
