Official 'Skyfall' Poster.
Just Like every Bond movie that gets released, "Skyfall" ups the standards for the one that will follow it, and it does it in a magnificent way.

"Daniel Craig".
"Judi Dench".
After a little unintentional retreat, 'James Bond'(Daniel Craig) returns to help the head of MI6 'M'(Judie Dench). The MI6 is under attack by her former agent 'Raoul Silva'(Javier Bardem) ,who accuses her of betrayal. Of course a 007 movie can not exist without its 'Bong Girls': 'Eve Moneypenny'(Naomie Harris) and 'Severine'(Bérénice Lim Marlohe) .Moreover, during his adventure James Bond crosses path with 'Gareth Mallroy'(Ralph Fiennes) a former lieutenant colonel in the Birtish Army and now the Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Comittee, 'Q'(Ben Whishaw) the new MI6 quartermaster, in other words the one responsible of the research and development division of the British Secret Service, and 'Kincade'(Albert Finney) gamekeeper of Skyfall estate.
"Naomi Harris".
"Javier Bardem".
This movie is considered by many critics one of the best Bond movies. But since I personally haven't watched a full Bond movie other that 'Die Another Day', 'Casino Royal' and 'Quantum of Solace', I cannot not truly judge. What helped the movie in my opinion is that it has been a while since the last Bond movie was released due to the financial crisis that occurred in 2008 and put in jeopardy the release of this one. Plus the director "Sam Mendes" approached the making of this movie similar to the approach made famous by 'The Dark Knight' trilogy, which attracted the audiences and made them want to go and watch 'Skyfall'.
"Ben Whishaw" and "Daniel Craig".
"Daniel Craig" and
"Bérénice Lim Marlohe".
What I personally admired about the story was that it brought us to learn more about the origins of 007 agent. Furthermore, the producers and director capitalized on the great chemistry that "Daniel Craig" and "Judie Dench" have in their respective roles. Director "Sam Mendes" most notably known for directing 'American Beauty' did a phenomenal job bringing us such an engaging and intriguing movie. His directing style can be described as visually friendly, but at the same time character showing. The movie's flowed in a cohesive manner, and the editing was cleverly done. The music beautifully complemented the movie. "Thomas Newman"('Wall-E', 'Finding Nemo' and 'The Help'), who was in charge of scoring the movie, did great.
"Daniel Craig".
"Daniel Craig" and "Javier Bardem".
The opening sequence was one of the highlight scenes of the movie. The stunts performed are really over the top during the train scene. Comparing them to previous 007 movies, in which "Daniel Criag" was part of, this opening scene was the best. 'Skyfall''s title opening sequence , which included "Adele"'s Oscar winning song 'Skyfall', was truly mind blowing. That's why it was included in my list of '2012's Top 10 Movie Moments'. One of the best movie scenes include, 'Bond' regaining his fitness even though they were a bit short and could have been further used. All the action and stunt scenes during the course of the movie were performed in a fashionable way such as 'Raoul' final attack at 'Bond''s estate, where it had a shocking twist.
"Naomi Harris".
"Ralph Fiennes".
'Skyfall' had one of the most talented cast ensemble between the 2012 movies. Personally, "Daniel Craig" is one of my favorite actors who ever played this coveted role, though this point is hugely debatable between critics and 007 fans. He took the role in the movies where 'James Bond's portrayal was more grounded than the previous movies. "Judi Dench" as usual was captivating playing 'M', and the chemistry that she has with "Daniel" has always been the highlight of these movies. "Javier Bardem" humanized portrayal of such complex character brought it to life and made watching him very interesting. And the tackling of 'Bond''s sexuality with his character was very clever. As usual each 'Bond' movie includes the 'Bond' girls. "Naomi Harris"'s character was used very well, and glad her character wasn't killed. "Bérénice Lim Marlohe" also did her best with the technically small role she got. The inclusion of a young and modern 'Q', played by "Ben Whishaw" was phenomenal. And expect that "Ralph Fiennes"'s character to expand in importance in future movies.
"Daniel Craig".
"Daniel Craig".
The theme of the movie for me was "Return to Old School". I saw many people who argued that the movie was like using old people, but for me that's what i liked about it. I liked how "Bond" never got like new technologies, hes was given the same old gun and a detector chip, and how at the end he killed the main antagonist with a knife and not his gun, and i really was excited that the Aston Martin DB5 from the Bond movie "Goldfinger" .As for the location, they were perfect and loved the island that was used as Raoul hiding place.
At the end, no one can argue that the 23rd Bond Movie was one of the best Bond Movies ever and that it was a huge international success. And if you haven't seen it yet than you should go and see it because it is one of the best movies of 2012!

I agree that it's old school, and it's a very good movie, but not the best: I prefer Casino Royal better, but for sure Craig is the best bond actor so far.

I am not a Bond fan but I like this movie. Though many people have stated that its not a good film and the worst Bond movie ever made, I enjoyed it.
