Official "Silver Linings Playbook" Poster.
This movie is one of the most enjoyable movies of 2012. Any person who is looking for a movie that merges comedy, romance, and drama in a beautiful way, well all I can tell you is that "You've just found it!”

"Jennifer Lawrence" and
"Bradley Cooper".
"Jacki Weaver" and
"Robert De Niro".
'Patrizio Solitano Jr.'(Bradley Cooper), who has bipolar disorder, has just been released from a mental health facility care and went to live with his parents. When he arrives to their home, he is informed by his father 'Pat Sr.'(Robert De Niro), who resorts to bookmarking to earn a living, and his mother 'Doloris'(Jacki Weaver) that his wife has left town. Determined to get back his life, he starts cleaning his act. And one night after his friend 'Ronnie'(John Ortiz) and his wife 'Veronica'(Julie Stiles), who hates 'Pat', invites him to dinner, he meets 'Veronica' 's sister 'Tiffany Maxwell'(Jennifer Lawrence), a young widow who lost her job and is recovering from sex addiction. And from this point onwards his life will take a route, which 'Pat' didn't expect to take. We have also 'Danny'(Chris Tucker), as 'Pat' 's friend from the mental health facility care, 'Jake'(Shea Whigham), as Pat's brother, 'Dr. Patel'(Anupam Kher), and 'Officer Keogh'(Dash Mihok).

"Jennifer Lawrence".
Well I can see now why 'Silver Linings Playbook" has been nominated for so many awards. This movie is just fun to watch, from the time its starts until the last second. I think the director "David O. Russell”, who directed great award winning movies, such as "Three Kings" and "The Fighter", did a great job. The movie progressed in an impressive way. And being a romantic comedy-drama film, you would expect that at some point the movie will go out of track ,just for a little bit, but it doesn’t. And that is what I like about this movie. The beginning of the movie was good, trying to let you know directly who each character is on the surface, and then throughout the movie you get to explore each character more deeply. The comedic moments in this film were just spot on. And what I liked about the movie and its events that they are real, and there is no 'fairy tale-ish" aspects. It is real and in any community such things can occur. Moreover, I liked that the director gave each character the screen time it deserves, because sometimes you might think that a certain character had less screen time than the other. But here I think each got his/her fair share.
"Robert De Niro" and
"Bradley Cooper".
"Bradley Cooper", "Jacki Weaver",
and "Chris Tucker".
Starting with the first lead actor "Bradley Cooper", I think that this movie is the movie that everyone will be referring to once they hear his name from now on. His performance was just staggering. I never thought he would pull this off, but what he did in this film was spectacular. The second lead actress was "Jennifer Lawrence", and she deserved winning 'Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy' in the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and many others. She was great and with each movie she just gets better and better. I was amazed of how good she was in this movie. I commend "Robert Di Nero" on his portrayal for this role, since I think this is one of the best roles he has played in recently. "Jacki Weaver" was also very good in playing both the caring mother and the attentive wife. "Chris Tucker", "Julia Stiles", "John Ortiz", "Shea Whigham", "Anupam Kher", and "Dash Mihok" all played vital roles in making the film such a great one, and each character did a good job portraying his/her character.
'Silver Linings Playbook' must be watched because it is one of those movies that will make you laugh and feel good once you finished watching it. So for to those people who haven't watched this movie yet, I recommend you to watch it.
