Once again "Christopher Nolan" brought to us another masterpiece feature that surely is controversial and will divide many people as usual.

"Mathew McConaughey",
"Mackenzie Foy", and
"Timothee Chalamet".
"Anne Hathaway".
In the future, Earth will face a huge problem called 'The Blight', which forces them to abandon their love of discovery and abandon technology in order to return back to basic survival mode. Former NASA pilot 'Joseph Cooper'(Mathew McConaughey) has become a farmer growing one of the last crop farms ever to exist. He now lives peacefully in the farm alongside his daughter 'Murphy Cooper'(Mackenzie Foy), his son 'Tom Cooper'(Timothee Chalamet) and his father-in-law 'Donald'(Jon Lithgow). But when his curiosity for discovery reunites him with his old colleague Professor 'John Brand'(Michael Caine), he discovers that the conditions are worse than originally said revealed. But going to space will prove to be a dilemma; on one side fulfilling his dream is for him to find solutions for the bad situation. On the other hand, this journey will take time and there is a possibility that he might never see his children again. This task will prove to be an emotional and dangerous one with dire consequences. Other major characters include daughter of Professor 'Brand' 'Amelia Brand'(Anne Hathaway), older 'Murphy Cooper'(Jessica Chastain), older 'Tom Cooper'(Casey Affleck), 'Romilly'(David Gyasi), 'Doyle'(Wes Bentley), 'Tom''s wife 'Lois Cooper'(Leah Cairns), voice of 'TARS'(Bill Irwin), voice of 'CASE'(Josh Stewart) and researcher 'Dr. Mann'(Matt Damon).

"Jessica Chastain".
'Interstellar'.
Space movies over the years have been mostly successful movies. This mainly stems for the curiosity of human kind about the unknown. And Space is certainly is one of the main unknowns that is so vast that it will continue to be one of the main topics, from which humans will find infinite questions that need answers. And still many of these answers might take a long time to be found. This interest allowed people to thoroughly enjoy these space-action movies that are wrapped by these questions that everyone seeks answers for. From "Stanley Kubrick"'s  revolutionary film-making monument '2001: A Space Odyssey', to last year's award winning fascinating movie 'Gravity', these high quality movies from a narrative and production point of view have been a huge box office and critical success. And when "Christopher Nolan" decided that his newest project would tackle the subject of space and seeing his recent streak of 'out-of-the box' movies that usually leads to relentless controversy, many were naturally excited about this movie. Overall, "Nolan" succeeds in achieving another milestone picture that utilizes all the aspects of film-making at a very high caliber.

"David Gyasi" and
"Mathew McConaughey".
'Interstellar'.
Acclaimed director "Christopher Nolan", known for smashing hits like 'Inception' and 'The Dark Knight' trilogy, always brings something new to the table. He manages once again to bring forward a thought-provoking movie that blends well with the narrative aspect of it."Christopher Nolan" and his brother "Jonathan Nolan"('The Dark Knight Rises') wrote a beautiful personal story mixed with heavy scientific exposition about space, making it sometimes heavy to digest for some.  And with this movie specifically, the visual artistry is an important aspect for its success. And thanks to the advancement in technology, the visual effects are very much mind-blowing that audiences will truly feel as if they are experiencing a real-life space adventure. And that aspect alone provided the audiences with a brilliant and worthy movie-going experience. The implementation of sound to bring an authentic representation of space is also a fundamental component. "Hans Zimmer"('12 Years a Slave' and 'Man of Steel') once again is the magician that lays the sparks to a movie. The music provided a new and unique score that differs from the other "Nolan" movies that he previously scored, reinventing himself while adding texture and depth.

"Wes Bentley".
"Mathew McConaughey",
"Anne Hathaway" and "David Gyasi".
The movies that "Nolan" makes provide a story that is intriguing enough and is full of mysteries and twists that keeps one attracted enough to watch it over and over again to understand them. With 'Interstellar', the same approach is taken, yet it is heavy in scientific exposition. Usually this type of things is useful to understand the story, but there are certain instances where it becomes too much to handle. This picture spends too much time explaining the physics of it all and telling a personal story between a father-daughter, where it unfortunately fails to enter subtle storytelling. Another major problem that might hinder interest from moviegoers is the time frame, which roughly touches the 3 hour mark. Yet all can be forgiven thanks to the (literally) out of this world visual effects, where the director and special effects crew made sure that the depiction of space is being preserved as real as they could be, allowing for an awe experience. From the 'sea world', to the 'ice world', the dark hole and even the space action, the movie really kills it to the point where many jaws were dropped. And as weird and complicated as the story might seem, in the end "Nolan" manages to tie the whole thing up in a beautiful bow.

"Mathew McConaughey" and
"Anne Hathaway".
"Jessica Chastain" and
"Casey Affleck".
"Mathew McConaughey" surely positions himself as a worthy leader to the movie, managing to carry the heavy load the movie set up upon him especially after his success last year. The remaining supporting characters never achieve to be fully realized; nevertheless, the actors playing them were able to improve upon them. "Anne Hathaway" manages to pull her character in an impressive manner, even if her character does fall into the cliché side often. "Jessica Chastain" performs excellently as older 'Murphy', especially after the breakthrough performance of "Mackenzie Foy", who managed to create an excellent father-daughter relationship with "McConaughey"'s character. And "Chastain" succeeds in protect this developed relationship. As usual, the inclusion of "Michael Caine" in a "Nolan" movie was a given, while "Casey Affleck", "David Gyasi", "Wes Bentley" and "Leah Cairns" supply us with a satisfying performance to forward the plot. "Matt Damon"'s inclusion was shock to many. Even if, his character played a vital role inside the movie his star-status did diminish a bit from his overall performance where audiences only saw "Matt Damon" rather than the character he played. The two most exciting and stellar characters of the entire film were definitely the futuristic robot assistants, who were voiced by "Bill Irwin" and "Josh Stewart".

In the end, the magnificent "Christopher Nolan" administered a healthy dose of film-making that will surely be remembered and watched thanks to the ground it broke in the genre of space movie.
