Official "Iron Man 3" Poster.

One of the most anticipated movies of 2013 (Check Out 'Most Anticipated 2013 Movies') and surely one the blockbuster movie of all time,'Iron Man 3' isn't better than 'Marvel's The Avengers' but is surely one the best 'Iron Man' movie in the series and one of the good Marvel movies.

"Ben Kingsley".
"Robert Downey Jr." and
"Gwyneth Paltrow".
After the events of 'Marvel's The Avengers', 'Tony Stark'(Robert Downey Jr.) is having problems dealing with what he had to go through that day. His anxieties are affecting his life with 'Pepper Potts'(Gwyneth Paltrow). At the same time, global tensions are rising when unprecedented attacks occur. These attacks are being led by the 'Mandarin'(Ben Kingsley), who is causing chaos. But when 'Stark' challenges the 'Mandarin', things take a turn to the worst. Here 'Tony' is left on his own trying to regain himself, at the same time saving 'Pepper' and the world. Other characters include 'Col. James Rhodes'(Don Cheadle) aka 'Rhodey' and 'Iron Patriot', 'Aldrich Killian'(Guy Pearce) creator of the 'Extremis' virus, 'Dr.Maya Hansen'(Rebecca Hall) a botanist, 'Stark''s personal bodyguard 'Happy Hogan'(Jon Favreau), Extremis infected soldiers 'Ellen Brandt'(Stephanie Szostack) and 'Eric Saven'(James Badge Dale), the little boy 'Harley'(Ty Simpkins), and 'Jarvis'(Paul Bettany).
"Robert Downey Jr.".
"Don Cheadle".
'Iron Man3' is the first movie to commence 'Phase Two' of Marvel which will eventuallylead to 'The Avengers 2', and what a way to start. This movie for me is definitelybetter than the sort of disappointing 'Iron Man 2’, and just beats 'Iron Man'by a notch for the title of best movie of the 'Iron Man' movie series. 'IronMan 3' had a lot riding on it. It is the first movie to come after the massivesuccess of 'The Avengers' and it was also sort of an ending to the 'Iron Man'trilogy. It is hard to balance a movie which still had to bring its 'A-Game'but at the same time try to wrap up a great franchise. And I commend Disney andMarvel for allowing the director "Shane Black" to do his own thing. He did a very good job with his virtually first big budget movie. He provided amovie with a good story, unexpected events, and great action sequences. Andhere Disney and Marvel should be once more commended for their ability to hidemany story elements from the media and the fans.
"Gwyneth Paltrow".
"Guy Pearce"/
As mentioned before, 'Iron Man 3' was "Shane Black"'s first big budget movie directing gig. He previously directed 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang",which coincidentally features "Robert Downey Jr.". He also took part of the screenplay. So "Black"'s influence on the movie was noticeable. Funny thing, most of "Shane Black" movies include 'kidnapping', so does 'Iron Man 3'. I like the way he allowed to make the movie flow smoothly and allowing each scene to have its breathing space. Yet the only character development that was noticeable and successful was that of 'Tony Stark''s fall and rise, while other characters had lesser important or unattractive development. What is also nice is that his and "Drew Pearce" screenplay had great lines and the conversations never felt weird or out of place. Same can be said to 90% of the jokes. The special effects were as usual great and the 3D was used very well in the action sequences."Bryan Tyler" who helmed the music in this movie disappointed me since I didn't think it helped the movie give it a little bit more edge.
"Rebecca Hall".
"Robert Downey Jr."
and "Don Cheadle".
The beginning of the movie was essential to the story. At the beginning you may feel a little bit confusing but when watching the movie you will understand what is going on more. The references for ‘The Avengers’ were good and enough. While many reports suggested that the tone of this movie was more serious, I thought that this little bit of seriousness that was brought was good and benefited the movie overall. The best scenes of the movie were definitely the 'Stark's house attack, the 'Air Force One' rescue, and the final battle. They all gave me the chills especially that of the 'Air Force One', which for me was shot great and it's time frame was perfect. The final battle was unexpectedly good and exciting. The ending was seeing a full circle being done. 'Iron Man' fans will be very sad to watch the ending and hoping that this won’t be the last time we see our favorite actors being part of this series.
"Ty Simpkins".
"James Badge Dale".
Let's start with a cast that played characters with secrets and twists. "Robert Downey Jr." as usual was the star of the movie. He previously proved to us that he is fully capable of leading a movie, even more than that a superhero assembly. I loved his ability to bring emotional baggage to this character, from seriousness to comedy; he never fails to amaze us all. "Robert Downey Jr." will always be known for playing 'Iron Man', and making it another iconic superhero. In my opinion, "Gwyneth Paltrow" is one of the 'Iron Man' elements that can never be replaced. She brought to this franchise something that cannot be explained. She is always fun to watch, but her role as 'Pepper Potts'in this movie was less than the previous two. And seeing that this may be the last 'Iron Man' movie to feature "Robert" and "Gwyneth"together, I was hoping for more. And speaking of those two actors, no one can deny that they play one of the most lovable couples in movie history. They have great chemistry that lights up the big screen.
Air Force One Sequence.
'Stark''s Home attack sequence.
In 'Iron Man 2', "Don Cheadle"'s character 'Col. James Rhodes' had lesser time than we hoped for. But that changed in this one. His character involvement was increased, and his time with 'Tony' was also expanded. And this 'Stark'/'Rhodey' relationship was one of the best things in 'Iron Man 2', which was used really well in this movie. Now I am not going to give spoilers to those who haven't seen the movie, but I was completely shocked regarding the 'Mandarin'."Ben Kingsley" is a great actor and did a great job in this movie ;however, when seeing the trailers you will never expect that something like this will occur. Same goes to "Guy Pearce"'s character 'Aldrich Killian'.His character was also a shock. As for his performance, I though he did a good job, but his character story wasn't the best thing. I was really disappointed to see that "Rebecca Hall"'s involvement in a big movie was so minimal. I was expecting more from her character. The 'Extremis' character's story wasn't used so good either but "Stephanie Szostak" and"James Badge Dale" did a good job. "Ty Simpkins"involvement in the movie was refreshing, especially his character. Loved the involvement of "Jon Favreau" as 'Happy Hogan' in the movie, and of course my favorite voice character 'Jarvis'(Paul Bettany) was great. "StanLee" also makes another appearance in a 'Marvel' movie as a judge in a beauty pageant.
'Tony Stark Will Return' is what the movie ends with. Whether "Robert Downey Jr." will return to do a standalone 'Iron Man' movie or not is still not sure, but he will definitely be returning to 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'The Avengers 3'.
